What a shoot at your hotel or villa is like

You may still be getting ready when we arrive, so we meet you at your room unless you’d rather meet in the lobby: you choose when you book. On The Golden Evening the usual run is your room, then around the hotel or villa, then the beach if you’ve added one. A shorter session stays at your hotel or villa.

Staying put spends none of your session on the road, so the good light goes on photos rather than on a drive. Villas and hotel terraces photograph better than most people expect.

Ask your hotel before you book whether it lets outside photographers in, and where. If it doesn’t, or only in some places, tell us and we’ll suggest somewhere close.

The photos on this page come from our own shoots at villas: a bachelorette party, and a couple’s maternity shoot.

Which session to book

When the booking page asks where we should shoot, pick “Your hotel or villa”. It takes any of the short sessions, at the same flat price as anywhere else, and your photographer and the edit are in each.

A whole day with your photographer, starting at your hotel and going on to a boat, a beach club or Old Town, is a Golden Day, booked as “All over Phuket”. What a Golden Day costs

Your hotel or villa, then a beach nearby

Start at your hotel or villa, then finish at a beach close by: about an hour at each. Getting there comes out of your shoot time, so it suits places a short walk or drive from the beach.

It needs 3 hours, so it comes with The Golden Evening: before you pay, “Add to your shoot” shows “Add a beach”, free. On The Signature Session, when your start time leaves room for 3 hours, the same line moves you up to The Golden Evening and shows what that costs.

The beach is the one closest to you, so a hotel on the sand, or a short walk from it, leaves the most time for photos.

Hair and makeup before your photos

Our makeup artists come to your hotel or villa and do your hair and makeup before your photos: a photoshoot look, not bridal. We offer it only where the shoot starts at your hotel or villa, on a short session: ฿5,900 for one person, or ฿3,900 each for more, up to 4 people.

About an hour per person, one after another, finishing as your photographer arrives. The artists come 30 minutes before they start, to set up, and the booking page shows their times for the start you picked.

Add it when you book, or later from your booking page up to 24 hours before we meet you, though not for a shoot booked for today.

Couples, families, groups or just you

The booking page first asks who’s in the photos: “Just me”, “The two of us”, “Family” or “A group”, and every answer can be booked at your hotel or villa.

For 20 or more of you we recommend a second photographer, and a third for 40 or more, so everyone gets photographed, not only the group shot: from ฿4,900 each, added when you book, though not for a shoot booked for today.

A family session at your hotel or villa keeps the children near their naps and snacks: tell us their ages and nap times in the notes when you book.

Birthdays, bachelorettes and private parties are often at a villa, and we come to yours: pick who’s in the photos (“A group” for friends), then the occasion when you give your details. For a party we suggest The Golden Evening.

Your photos the same day

On a short session your online gallery arrives in 3–5 days. Leaving soon after your shoot? Add “same-day delivery” (฿1,500) and every edited photo reaches you on the day of your shoot.

The gallery stays online for 90 days, or for good with “keep your gallery forever” (฿190). “All your RAW files” (฿2,900) adds every photo we took, straight from the camera.

What time we come

For the light, the booking page suggests the start that ends your shoot 15 minutes after sunset. Sunset in Phuket moves between 18:04 in November and 18:48 in July, so for The Golden Evening that start falls between 15:19 and 16:03, and with hair and makeup the artists come earlier.

Any other start is yours, from 06:00 with the shoot finished by 21:00, at the same price. Book at least 6 hours before it starts: booking for today adds a ฿2,500 same-day fee, and neither hair and makeup nor an extra photographer can be added then.

Booking it

• Say who’s in the photos, pick “Your hotel or villa”, then your session, the date and a start time.
• In your details, give the name of your hotel or villa, and choose “At your room” or “In the lobby”. The room or villa number can wait if you don’t know it yet.
• You pay on Stripe’s own pages, and you’re booked as soon as you’ve paid. Most add-ons can still be added later, from your booking page.
• An hour before we meet you, we introduce your photographer on WhatsApp, with their own number, and they arrive 20 minutes early.
• Tick “Please keep our photos private” when you book and we publish none of your photos: worth knowing for a shoot in your room. Without it we may use a few frames from your shoot on this website, on Instagram and in ads.

Your shoot goes ahead whatever the weather: it’s out of our control, so checking the forecast is up to you, and rain doesn’t change what we refund. With the weather guarantee (฿350) you can move it once if rain threatens. Cancel 72 hours or more ahead for 90% back, 24 hours or more for 50%. Cancelling and the weather, in full
