Who you are booking with

Golden Hour Phuket is a trading name of Teerashot Production Co., Ltd. (company number 0835568013635), registered in Thailand at 88/39 Moo Baan Pitak Home 3, Moo 2, Soi Kiatsin 2, Thepkrasattri Road, Ratsada Subdistrict, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000, Thailand. These terms cover shoots booked at goldenhourphuket.com, and the company named here is the one on your receipt.

What a session is

The 2-Hour Session

2 hours with your photographer · 70 edited photos · gallery in 3–5 days, online for good. The photographer and the edit are both in the price.

The 3-Hour Session

3 hours with your photographer · 100 edited photos · gallery in 3–5 days, online for good. The photographer and the edit are both in the price.

The 4-Hour Session

4 hours with your photographer · 130 edited photos · gallery in 3–5 days, online for good. The photographer and the edit are both in the price.

The Half Day

6 hours with your photographer · 170 edited photos · gallery in 5–7 days, online for good. The photographer and the edit are both in the price.

The Full Day

8 hours with your photographer · 200 edited photos · gallery in 5–7 days, online for good. The photographer and the edit are both in the price.

The Full Day Plus

10 hours with your photographer · 250 edited photos · gallery in 5–7 days, online for good. The photographer and the edit are both in the price.

The Wedding Day

8 hours with your photographers · 500 edited photos · gallery in 3–5 days, online for good. The photographers and the edit are both in the price.

The session is the time you book, from the start time we agree. We meet you 20 minutes before it, so the time you paid for is time in front of the camera.

Everything else on the booking page — hair & makeup, your RAW files, faster delivery, the weather guarantee — is optional and priced there. Every shoot ends on time: more time is a longer session, booked ahead, and there is no overtime on the day.

An extra photographer is booked with your session, up to two more, three photographers in all: ฿5,900 on The 2-Hour Session, ฿6,900 on The 3-Hour Session, ฿7,900 on The 4-Hour Session and ฿15,800 on a full day, each. Each one adds edited photos to your gallery: 50 on The 2-Hour Session, 75 on The 3-Hour Session, 100 on The 4-Hour Session, 130 on The Half Day, 150 on The Full Day, 200 on The Full Day Plus and 200 on The Wedding Day. Their travel is included; where a boat trip, national park or other place charges per person, you cover each one’s ticket. An extra photographer can’t be booked for a shoot on the day you book it, or added once you’ve booked.

A shoot in Phuket Old Town is one of its own: 2 hours or 3 hours, and not combined with your hotel or a beach. We meet you at a set meeting point in Old Town, shown to you as soon as you’ve booked.

Your hotel or villa and then a beach nearby is asked for in your booking’s notes, and fits in the hours you book: 3 hours or more gives time for both. The beach is the one closest to you, and if it is further than a short walk, getting there comes out of your shoot time. A place you choose on Phuket is where we meet you.

A half or full day is your photographer with you, all over Phuket: The Half Day for 6 hours, The Full Day for 8 hours or The Full Day Plus for 10 hours, each at its own price. For longer than 10 hours, WhatsApp us. You book its hours, and tell us where your day starts and finishes and when it starts. Each price is for those hours, not time to use as you like on the day: the hours you book are the ones your photographer works, and they arrive 20 minutes before your day starts. Your times are fixed once you pay; to change them, message us.

Your photographer’s travel is included in the price. When your day finishes where it starts, we suggest they travel with you; when it finishes somewhere else, they can drive themselves at no extra cost. Where a boat trip, national park or other place charges per person, you pay your photographer’s ticket, and check its price with the operator. The day starts and finishes on Phuket, between 06:00 and 21:00 — for a day that ends elsewhere, WhatsApp us — and is booked at least 2 days ahead.

Prices and paying

Prices are in Thai baht and are what you pay: there is no commission, service charge or editing fee on top. Payment is taken in full when you book, by Stripe, on Stripe’s own pages — your card details never reach us. A numbered invoice follows by email; it is not a Thai tax invoice (ใบกำกับภาษี).

Low season prices for shoots before 1 December. A shoot on or after 1 December is at the full price. The price is set by your shoot date, shown for that date before you pay, and doesn’t change once you’ve booked.

A shoot booked for the same day costs ฿2,500 more — a “Same-day booking” line, shown before you pay. A promo code comes off every line, that fee included.

Special days cost more: 60% on New Year’s Eve, and 30% on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Songkran (13–15 April). The percentage is added to the session, extra photographers and extra hours, as a line named after the day (“New Year’s Eve rate”), shown before you pay. A shoot keeps the rate it was booked at, and the weather guarantee can’t move it to a special day that costs more.

Book several days together and each day’s session costs less: 10% off for 2 days, 13% for 3, and 15% for 4 or more. The Wedding Day counts as a day and keeps its price, and add-ons and fees are never discounted. It comes off each day’s session at that day’s price, and is shown as a line of its own before you pay. A booking has one discount: a promo code or a sale takes its place only when the booking then costs less.

When we shoot

You pick the day and the start time. Shoots start from 06:00 and finish by 21:00, and the time we suggest is the golden hour, which ends just after sunset — take it or pick another.

A shoot has to start at least 6 hours after you book, so there is time to put a photographer on it. You’re booked as soon as you’ve paid. We introduce your photographer on WhatsApp an hour before we meet you.

Cancellation & weather

• Cancel 72 hours or more before your shoot starts and we refund 90% of what you paid (we keep 10%); 24 hours or more before, 50%. After that, or if you don’t come, there’s no refund.
• Add-ons are refunded the same way as the booking.
• Each day is cancelled and refunded on its own, by when that day starts. Cancelling one can leave the others a smaller discount, and the difference comes off that day’s refund.
• A shoot that has been moved can’t be refunded.
• Your shoot goes ahead whatever the weather: it’s out of our control, so checking the forecast is up to you, and rain doesn’t change what we refund.
• With the weather guarantee, if rain threatens your shoot you can change its date or time, free: once, any time up to 2 hours before we meet you.
• Without the weather guarantee, you can still move your shoot on the day, for any reason: once, up to 2 hours before we meet you. It costs ฿2,500 for a session of up to 4 hours, and ฿6,000 for a half day, a full day or The Wedding Day, billed before your photos are delivered.
• Without the weather guarantee, a shoot cancelled on the day — for rain or anything else — is charged in full.

To cancel, open your booking page from the link in your confirmation, or message us. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, in Thai baht, and banks usually show them within 5–10 working days. If you paid by PromptPay, Stripe emails you to ask which Thai bank account to send it to.

By paying for a booking or an add-on, you agree to this policy.

If your plans change, ask us as early as you can and we will do what we can. If your hotel or venue doesn’t allow outside photographers, tell us and we’ll suggest somewhere close.

Your photos

Your gallery arrives 3–5 days after the shoot (5–7 days after a full day), full resolution and yours to print, and it stays online for good. RAW files are an add-on; without it we deliver the edit.

On the booking page there is a box marked “Please keep our photos private”. Unless you tick this, we may use a few frames from your shoot in our portfolio — on this website, on Instagram and in ads. Ticking it means we publish none of them. Either way it changes nothing about your shoot, your gallery or the price, and you can change your mind in either direction at any time.

Photographs of children are only ever published with a parent’s or guardian’s agreement, asked for separately. The copyright in the photographs stays with us; what you get is the right to use them however you like, for as long as you like, including printing and posting them.

These terms are governed by Thai law, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction. If you book from somewhere with stronger consumer rights, those rights still stand — nothing here replaces them. What we do with your details is in the privacy policy, linked at the bottom of every page.
