Golden hour photoshoots in Phuket

Our sessions are flat-priced by length, and each price includes the photographer and the edit.

• Short sessions:

  • The Mini Session (1 hour): ฿8,200
  • The Signature Session (2 hours): ฿8,900, launch price until 15 October
  • The Golden Evening (3 hours): ฿10,900, launch price until 15 October
• Golden Days:

  • The Golden Day: ฿19,500 for 5 to 8 hours
  • The Golden Day Plus: ฿22,900 for 9 to 10 hours
  • ฿3,500 for each hour past 10
• On a Golden Day you also cover your photographer’s seat, tickets and fares, and their fare back to where your day started; a day that ends off Phuket is quoted.

It depends on where you shoot and how many outfits you bring.

• 1 hour: One place and one outfit.
• 2 hours: Two outfits, Old Town on its own, or a group who each want a few of their own.
• 3 hours: Where you’re staying and then a beach nearby (about an hour at each, and 20–30 minutes to get between them), a party, or three or more outfits.
• An extra hour: The Golden Evening can take one more (฿3,500), booked ahead, because every shoot ends on time on the day.
• Old Town: Always a shoot of its own, up to three hours. It’s 90–120 minutes by car from the west-coast beaches, so it isn’t combined with anywhere else.
• A Golden Day: A boat trip, a beach club, or Old Town and a beach on one day. You tell us when it starts and finishes, 5 hours or more, and the booking page prices it.

Usually wherever you’re already staying, plus the nearest beach.

• Villas and hotel terraces photograph better than most people expect, and you keep the good light instead of spending it in a car.
• Phuket Old Town is the other favourite: Thalang Road, Soi Romanee and Dibuk Road, which we shoot late afternoon or after dark once the lanterns are on.

Yes, on The Golden Evening.

• Start at your hotel or villa, then finish at a beach close by: about an hour at each. Getting there comes out of your shoot time, so it suits places a short walk or drive from the beach.
• Best of all if your hotel has beach access.
• A shorter session stays in one place.
• Old Town is a shoot of its own, and isn’t combined with the hotel or a beach.

The hour before sunset, almost always.

• It’s the most flattering light of the day and the beaches are at their quietest, so the booking page suggests that slot for your date.
• You can also pick your own start time, any time from 06:00 with the shoot finished by 21:00.

Yes, as long as it starts at least 6 hours after you book.

• Booking for the same day adds a ฿2,500 same-day fee, shown in your total before you pay.

Yes. Special days cost more: 60% on New Year’s Eve, and 30% on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Songkran (13–15 April).

• It’s on your session, extra photographers and extra hours; the rest of the add-ons cost the same.
• The booking calendar marks these days with what your session costs on them.
• Your total shows the rate as its own line before you pay.

The longer the session, the more edited photos you get.

• How many:

  • 1 hour: 40 edited photos
  • 2 hours: 70 edited photos
  • 3 hours: 100 edited photos
  • A Golden Day: 200 edited photos, or 250 on The Golden Day Plus
• The edit: Included. Every one is colour-corrected and finished by us before it reaches you.
• When: Your online gallery arrives 3–5 days after the shoot, or 5–7 days after a Golden Day.

• How it’s priced: Tell us where and when your day starts and finishes, between 06:00 and 21:00, and the booking page picks the day that fits:

  • The Golden Day: ฿19,500 for 5 to 8 hours
  • The Golden Day Plus: ฿22,900 for 9 to 10 hours, long enough for a boat day to the islands
  • ฿3,500 for each hour past 10
• Your times: It’s a flat price for those hours, and the times you give are the ones we work. Your times are fixed once you pay; to change them, message us.
• Travel: Your photographer travels with you in your car, taxi, coach or boat, and you cover their seat, tickets and fares on the day, and their fare back to where your day started.
• Where: The day starts and finishes on Phuket; if it ends in Krabi or Khao Lak, message us for a quote.
• Book ahead: At least 2 days, so we can line up a photographer for the whole day.

Yes. Add an extra photographer when you book, up to two more.

• Each extra photographer:

  • The Mini Session: ฿4,900
  • The Signature Session: ฿5,900
  • The Golden Evening: ฿6,900
  • A Golden Day: ฿15,800
• Each one adds edited photos to your gallery.
• For 20 or more of you we recommend a second photographer, and a third for 40 or more, so everyone gets photographed, not only the group shot.
• An extra photographer can’t be booked for a shoot on the day you book it, or added once you’ve booked.

Warm, filmic and a little imperfect: closer to a scanned negative than to a phone’s idea of a sunset.

• Every photo is edited by hand in our own colour.
• It’s the same colour across your whole gallery, so the set hangs together instead of looking like ten different filters.

• Book earlier in your stay so there’s room to move for weather.

Yes, we come to wherever you’ve arranged it.

• Most of them are in a private villa, at a restaurant, or at a club booked out for the night.

Yes.

• A proposal on Phuket: The Golden Evening, 3 hours. Your photographer is there an hour before you ask, out of sight, then photographs you both. We introduce them the evening before so you can plan the moment together.
• On a boat or a day out: It’s a Golden Day.
• A pre-wedding shoot: 2 hours or more, time for the dress and something relaxed.

Your shoot goes ahead whatever the weather: it’s out of our control, so checking the forecast is up to you, and rain doesn’t change what we refund.

• Phuket showers usually blow through in half an hour.
• If you’d rather be able to move your shoot, add the weather guarantee when you book (฿350).
• With the weather guarantee, if rain threatens your shoot you can change its date or time, free: once, any time up to 2 hours before we meet you.
• Without the weather guarantee, a shoot cancelled on the day — for rain or anything else — is charged in full.

Yes: you book and pay on the website, and that is what holds the date.

• It takes about two minutes: pick a session, a date and a start time, then pay by card.
• If something about the sessions isn’t clear, ask us before you pay and we’ll answer on WhatsApp.

Cancel 72 hours or more before your shoot starts and we refund 90% of what you paid (we keep 10%); 24 hours or more before, 50%. After that, or if you don’t come, there’s no refund.

• Add-ons are refunded the same way as the booking.
• A shoot that has been moved can’t be refunded.
• To cancel, open your booking page from the link in your confirmation, or message us.
• Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, in Thai baht, and banks usually show them within 5–10 working days. If you paid by PromptPay, Stripe emails you to ask which Thai bank account to send it to.
• With the weather guarantee, if rain threatens your shoot you can change its date or time, free: once, any time up to 2 hours before we meet you.
• By paying, you agree to this policy.
