Couple photoshoots in Phuket

A couple photoshoot with us is your own photographer in Phuket, from 1 hour to a full day: at your hotel or villa, on a beach, in Phuket Old Town or all over the island. It costs ฿8,200 for The Mini Session (1 hour), ฿8,900 for The Island Story (2 hours) and ฿10,900 for The Full Glow (3 hours), the last two at launch prices until 15 October. A Golden Day is ฿19,500 to ฿22,900 for up to 10 hours, and ฿3,500 for each hour past 10. The edit is in every price, and a honeymoon, an anniversary, an engagement or no occasion at all has the same sessions at the same prices. We suggest the golden hour, which ends just after sunset.

Which session suits you

Each session is a flat price for its length, whatever the occasion, and your photographer and the edit are both in it. The longer you book, the more edited photos you get.

On a Golden Day you tell us where and when your day starts and finishes, and those times set the price. Past 10 hours, each hour or part of an hour is ฿3,500 more. You also cover your photographer’s seat, tickets and fares on the day, and their fare back to where your day started.

Honeymoon photos

Tell us it’s your honeymoon when you book: pick “The two of us” for who’s in the photos, and “Honeymoon” as the occasion when you give your details. The notes box is there for a surprise, or an idea you’ve saved.

We come to your hotel or villa, so the shoot fits round your stay. Book it early in your stay, so there’s room to move for the weather, and add the weather guarantee for ฿350. With the weather guarantee, if rain threatens your shoot you can change its date or time, free: once, any time up to 2 hours before we meet you.

On a short session your gallery arrives in 3–5 days, or on the day itself with “same-day delivery” (฿1,500). It stays online for 90 days, or for good with “keep your gallery forever” (฿190).

Anniversary photos

An anniversary is booked the same way, with “Anniversary” as the occasion. Celebrating somewhere that matters to you both? Book it as a place you choose, and we meet you there, wherever it is on Phuket.

Engagement and pre-wedding photos

Yes, we photograph engagements and pre-wedding shoots: book any session above, at the same price, and pick “Engagement / proposal” or “Pre-wedding” as the occasion when you give your details. There’s no separate pre-wedding session to buy.

Our makeup artists come to your hotel or villa and do your hair and makeup before your photos: a photoshoot look, not bridal. It’s ฿5,900 for one of you, or ฿3,900 each for both, on a short session that starts at your hotel or villa. It takes about an hour per person, one after another, finishing as your photographer arrives. Add it when you book or later, up to 24 hours before we meet you, though not for a shoot booked for today.

Where we photograph couples

Where you shoot is the second question when you book, and it decides which sessions you can have.

Your hotel or villa: any short session, and The Full Glow is the length we suggest. With The Full Glow you can add a beach nearby. Start at your hotel or villa, then finish at a beach close by: about an hour at each. Getting there comes out of your shoot time, so it suits places a short walk or drive from the beach.
A place you choose: we meet you at a place of your own on Phuket, such as a particular beach or viewpoint, and The Island Story is the length we suggest. The photos on the grass above the sea on this page were taken near Nai Harn.
Phuket Old Town: a shoot of its own, never combined with your hotel or a beach. It runs up to 3 hours, and we suggest 2 hours.
All over Phuket: a Golden Day, for a boat trip, a beach club, or Old Town and a beach on the same day. Your photographer travels with you in your car, taxi, coach or boat.

We meet you at a set spot in Old Town, and you’ll see exactly where as soon as you’ve booked. We shoot Old Town in the late afternoon, or after dark when the lanterns come on.

If your hotel doesn’t allow outside photographers, tell us and we’ll suggest somewhere close.

When: the golden hour

For the light, we suggest the golden hour: pick your date, and the booking page offers the start that ends your shoot 15 minutes after that day’s sunset. In Phuket sunset is earliest in November, at 18:04, and latest in July, at 18:48, so across the year that start falls:

The Mini Session: between 17:19 and 18:03
The Island Story: between 16:19 and 17:03
The Full Glow: between 15:19 and 16:03

Any other start is yours to pick, from 06:00 with the shoot finished by 21:00, at the same price. Book at least 6 hours ahead: a shoot booked for today adds ฿2,500, and a Golden Day needs 2 days’ notice.

How it works, and what’s included

You book online, in the order the booking page asks: who’s in the photos (the two of us), where, your session, the date and time, then your details. You pay on Stripe’s own pages, and you’re booked as soon as you’ve paid.
Before you pay, the booking page shows every add-on your shoot can take, with nothing ticked. Most of what you don’t add then can be added later from your booking page, at the same prices.
We introduce your photographer on WhatsApp an hour before we meet you, and they arrive 20 minutes early to say hello. The same photographer stays for your whole session, and keeps you walking and talking rather than posing to camera.
A colourist edits every photo by hand, and your online gallery arrives in 3–5 days (5–7 days after a Golden Day): full-size files, yours to print and share.
Tick “Please keep our photos private” when you book and we publish none of your photos. Without it we may use a few frames from your shoot on this website, on Instagram and in ads.

Your shoot goes ahead whatever the weather: it’s out of our control, so checking the forecast is up to you, and rain doesn’t change what we refund. Cancel 72 hours or more ahead for 90% back, 24 hours or more for 50%. Cancelling and the weather, in full
