How long to book for a group

It comes down to what you want from it: the group photo in one place, a few photos each, or the whole party. Each session is priced by its length, with your photographer and the edit.

Special days cost more: 60% on New Year’s Eve, and 30% on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Songkran (13–15 April).

20 of you or more

A session’s edited photos are shared by all of you, so for a big group we recommend more photographers. For 20 or more, we recommend a second photographer, so everyone gets photographed, not only the group shot. For 40 or more, we recommend three photographers, so everyone gets photographed in the golden light.

• The Signature Session: ฿5,900 for each extra photographer, who adds 50 edited photos
• The Golden Evening: ฿6,900 for each extra photographer, who adds 75 edited photos
• The Golden Day: ฿15,800 for each extra photographer, who adds 150 edited photos
• The Golden Day Plus: ฿15,800 for each extra photographer, who adds 200 edited photos

It’s a recommendation, never a rule: a group that only wants the one group photo needs one photographer. Add them as you book, up to 2 more and not for a shoot today; they can’t be added afterwards. On a Golden Day you also cover each one’s seat, tickets and fares.

Bachelorettes, birthdays and baby showers

• A bachelorette or a hen party: on the booking page pick “A group”, then “Bachelorette”. A bachelor party: “A group”, then “Something else”.
• A birthday: “A group”, then “Birthday”, and tell us whose it is in the notes.
• A baby shower or a gender reveal: “A group”, then “Something else”, and tell us the plan in the notes.
• Friends on a trip together: “A group”, then “Friends’ trip”; friends who live here: “Something else”. A pair of friends? Pick “The two of us”.

Matching outfits, a balloon arch, the cake: tell us the plan in the notes, and your photographer works it into your session. The photos on this page come from a bachelorette at a villa and a baby shower.

Children at the party? We only ever publish a child’s photo with a parent’s or guardian’s agreement, asked for separately.

Where to shoot as a group

• Your hotel or villa: the party stays put and we come to you. On The Golden Evening it can end at a beach nearby, free.
• A place you choose: a restaurant, a beach or a viewpoint anywhere on Phuket, and we meet you there.
• Phuket Old Town, 90–120 minutes by car from the west-coast beaches: a shoot of its own.
• All over Phuket: a Golden Day on your own boat, a day at a beach club, or wherever your day goes. Your photographer travels with you, and you cover their seat, tickets and fares on the day.

Your photographer meets you at your room or in the lobby of your hotel or villa, as you choose when you book; in Old Town, at a set spot you see once you’ve booked.

Some hotels, villas, restaurants and beach clubs keep outside photographers out, so ask before you book. If yours says no, tell us and we’ll suggest somewhere close.

Hair and makeup for the group

Our makeup artists come to your villa or hotel before your photos, for a photoshoot look, not bridal: ฿5,900 for one of you, or ฿3,900 each when more of you have it, up to 4 of you. The booking page shows their times for your group and the start you pick.

They come for a short session that starts where you’re staying, if they’re free at your time. Add it as you book, unless the shoot is today, or afterwards from your booking page until 24 hours before we meet you. Hair and makeup on a Golden Day? Ask us on WhatsApp.

The golden hour, and a party that runs late

We suggest the golden hour. Pick a date on the booking page and it offers that day’s golden-hour start, so your shoot ends at 18:30 or 19:00; through the year that means starting at:

• The Mini Session: 17:30 or 18:00, depending on the day
• The Signature Session: 16:30 or 17:00, depending on the day
• The Golden Evening: 15:30 or 16:00, depending on the day

Shoots run from 06:00 and are over by 21:00, and every shoot ends on time, so plan the photos before the party runs late. Want longer on The Golden Evening? Its extra hour (฿3,500) is booked ahead.

We need 6 hours’ notice (2 days for a Golden Day), and booking for today adds ฿2,500.

Your photos, and if plans change

• One gallery for the whole group, every photo edited by hand in our own colour, ready to download and share: 3–5 days after a short session, or on the day itself with “same-day delivery” (฿1,500), and 5–7 days after a Golden Day.
• It stays online for 90 days; “keep your gallery forever” (฿190) keeps it there for good.
• Would anyone in the group rather none of the photos were shown anywhere? Tick “Please keep our photos private” as you book. If not, a few frames may appear on this website, on Instagram and in ads, and that can change whenever you like.
• Rain doesn’t stop a shoot. The weather guarantee (฿350) lets you change the date or time once, free, if rain threatens, up to 2 hours before we meet you.
